Cavs might rest LeBron until playoffs

The Cavaliers are looking at a real possibility of resting LeBron James
for the remainder of the NBA’s regular season, coach Mike Brown said
Friday.

James, who has assorted bumps and bruises, sat out Thursday’s loss to
the Chicago Bulls and was held out against the Indiana Pacers game
Friday.

Bryant still hopes to play in Worlds

DENVER – Kobe Bryant said he’s still planning to play for Team USA in this summer’s World Championships – if his health permits.

LeBron James and Dwyane Wade announced recently they’re leaning toward skipping the World Championships in Turkey. Both will be free agents this summer and have cited business and family commitments as reasons why they might not play.

Knicks coach sees no future with McGrady

Though the final decision belongs to Knicks team president Donnie Walsh,
coach Mike D’Antoni feels it would be prudent to move on without Tracy
McGrady next season, according to team sources.

D’Antoni has seen McGrady labor for 21 games, averaging 8.5 points, 3.3
rebounds and 3.3 assists.

Bryant signs extension with Lakers

has reached an agreement with the Los Angeles Lakers on a three-year
extension that could be worth more than $90 million.

LeBron: 'I Won't Stop' Until I Bring Title To Cleveland

In an interview on NBA TV, LeBron James indicated that he "won’t stop"
until he reaches his goal of winning a title in Cleveland.

"I got a goal, and it’s a huge goal, and that’s to bring an NBA
championship here to Cleveland," James said. "And I won’t stop until I
get it."
