Emeka Okafor to miss the rest of season
The Charlotte Bobcats have announced that forward Emeka Okafor will miss the remainder of the NBA season because of an ankle injury. Okafor had sprained his right ankle on two occasions this season and from that doctors in Charlotte found that the injury had led to serious tendinitis around the joint. Boykins Injured
Nuggets guard Earl Boykins will be out approx. 4-5 weeks with two fractures in his left hand the team announced today. Boykins will not require surgery but his hand will be in a hard cast for the time being. Julius Hodge was called up from the NBDL to replace his spot in the lineup.
