Update on Marbury from Boston.com
Boston.com is reporting that Marbury has interest in joining
the Celtics and the Celtics have apparently expressed a verbal commitment to
him as well. While the Celtics front office is declining to speak on this issue
it is noted that any player joining the team would have to take the veterans
minimum to join the club … so it looks like if Marbury is going to join the
Celtics he will do for the veterans minimum salary.
