The NBA is considering fining Nate Robinson for his agent asking the
Knicks to trade the veteran guard. A Knicks source told the Daily News
that the league has investigated comments made by Aaron Goodwin in
which he criticized Mike D’Antoni for benching Robinson. "I can’t allow
Nate to rot on Mike’s bench and not do anything about it. I can’t allow
this to happen to his career," Goodwin said Dec. 19. "It’s clear that
Mike D’Antoni doesn’t want to play him Continue reading “Trade request could cost Nate Robinson fine from New York Knicks *Update*” »

T-Mac sits until he can be worked in
With Tracy McGrady dissatisfied with his limited playing time, the Rockets came up with a solution he never saw coming.
Instead of increasing his playing time as McGrady had wanted, they chose not to play him at all.
“I said all along I want to see where he fits,” coach Rick Adelman said
Saturday. “Coming back from an injury like that (microfracture knee
surgery), it’s obvious he’s not the Tracy we knew two years ago. He
knows that. What I’m trying to figure out is where we can best get him
in the rotation where he can have a positive effect on the team. Continue reading “T-Mac sits until he can be worked in” »
Will Bulls try to remove all doubt from next year's cap space?
atching the Bulls dish out a season-high 28 assists with Kirk Hinrich
starting at the two-guard for the first time this season, I couldn’t
help but wonder if the Bulls will try to go all-in on free-agency by
trading John Salmons.
Salmons hasn’t played as well as the Bulls hoped and scored just 3
points off the bench in Saturday’s win over New Orleans. That’s not
even the biggest issue, though. Salmons has an option to terminate the
final year of his contract, worth $6.7 million, next summer. Continue reading “Will Bulls try to remove all doubt from next year's cap space?” »

"If he came here, it would be a big boost for the team, for the city

93-87 loss to the Miami Heat, the 18th loss this season.

McGrady chomping to play … for someone
Tracy McGrady’s $23 million salary makes him difficult to trade – but
not impossible. While McGrady is playing a limited role for the Rockets
since returning from knee surgery, he is confident that if he’s traded
his new team won’t be disappointed. Continue reading “McGrady chomping to play … for someone” »
