Hi Basket Ball Trade Rumors fans, when it comes to basketball, specifically, betting on basketball it can be a really interesting concept. Take for example, March Madness, math folks say that the odds of willing or picking a perfect bracket is nearly impossible. For example “ for years mathematicians have told us that the odds of picking a perfect NCAA tournament bracket are a staggering 1 in 9,223,372,036,854,775,808 (that’s 9.2 quintillion). Wow, that has never happened to this point. Imagine though, if you did pick the perfect bracket what the betting odds to do so are. I bet you can find those odds at bet on basketball.
According to NCAA.com, “It’s pretty hard to calculate the exact odds of filling out a perfect bracket. Your chances will increase with more knowledge of the current teams, the tournament’s history, and an understanding of the sport itself. For instance, before UMBC’s historic upset of Virginia last year, it was practically a guarantee that all four 1 seeds would win their matchups (they’re still 135 for 136 through the modern tournament’s history), giving you four automatically correct games to start off with. But that type of knowledge is near impossible to quantify or accurately factor into an equation.”
Now, in the NBA the odds are a bit lower and according to the NBA the person who picks a perfect bracket has the chance to win a million dollars. In order to win the perfect bracket you have to pick the winner of the series and the number of games that the series will go. That seems quite difficult to me, but the payoff is great. Imagine a million dollars and the extreme bragging rights that you would have to go with it. You would be able to rub it in the face of all of your friends, family and co-workers saying that you know the sport way better than anyone else.
What is tough when going to pick the perfect bracket is the first round upset. It seems that every year or so there is a team who comes up big at playoff time to upset a higher ranked team. If you are to pick the perfect bracket you have to pick the team and the number of games, making it tough.
Take for example the Toronto Raptors. The Toronto Raptors account says that the Raptors are unstoppable

Now, we all know that the Raptors are a great team with lots of depth, but the reality is that they just tied up their series with the Orlando Magic. It was the Magic, who with their great defensive play took a 1-0 lead in the opening round, before the Raptors tied it up. If the Raptors are not ready to play against the Magic in their third game then the Magic could easily take a2-1 lead in their series. Now, if the Magic eventually go on to win their opening series, it would be a great upset, and those fans who bet on the Magic could make some fast bucks.
