league sources with knowledge of the situation.
Evans, the Sacramento Kings’ guard from Chester, said today that he is
hoping to play for Team Philly when it takes on a team put together by
Carmelo Anthony on Sept. 25 at the Palestra.
"I would love to play in the game," Evans told the Daily News today at
an appearance in Chester. "Why not? What else is there to do."

was attending a team doctor’s appointment. Iguodala was present for the
team meeting and media availability, at which point the individual

All signs point toward Doug Collins.
The 76ers’ coaching search, which is more than a month old and has

According to multiple sources, Collins is the leading candidate, ahead
of former Dallas Mavericks coach Avery Johnson and former Toronto

the Sixers’ president and general manager, will schedule a second round
