Nuggets looking for a big man

Boykins Injured

Nuggets guard Earl Boykins will be out approx. 4-5 weeks with two fractures in his left hand the team announced today. Boykins will not require surgery but his hand will be in a hard cast for the time being. Julius Hodge was called up from the NBDL to replace his spot in the lineup.

The Denver Nuggets named George Karl the 19th head coach in team history Thursday. Karl will take over for interim head coach Michael Cooper and is expected to lead the team during a practice in Milwaukee, where the Nuggets will face the Bucks on Friday night.
