Meanwhile, Dwight Howard, the star of his former team – Orlando – reportedly made a call to Turkoglu on Tuesday night to express his desire for him to re-sign with the Magic. Turkoglu opted out of his contract with Orlando, foregoing $7.3 million this season.

Triano Likely to Sign a new contract with Toronto
Today’s Globe and Mail is reporting that Jay Triano recently met with Colangelo yesterday and it is indicated heavily that Triano will sign a contract with the Raptors to return as head coach next season.
No Decision for Douby yet
The Toronto Sun Reports that Guard Quincy Douby’s 10-day contract wrapped up yesterday and the Raptors are going to have to decide today whether to offer him another one. The problem with that is head coach Jay Triano readily admits he has no idea whether one is warranted or not because he hasn’t been able to get Douby enough minutes to make that determination. Triano was hoping to get Douby into Wednesday’s game for a decent look but with the game tight for most of the evening there was no chance.
