In the article it is reported that” Chris Bosh said on Thursday that he does not intend to sign a contract extension with the Toronto Raptors this summer. Instead, he left the door open for himself to become an unrestricted free agent after the upcoming season.

"(When) I signed a three-year (extension in 2006)… I had a goal in mind, and that was to put myself in the best position (in 2010) … I’m thinking I just want to stick to my goal, stick to what I was doing," Bosh told the Canadian Press.
"That’s a part of the plan, I just want to address everything next season. There’s a reason why I did things the way I did back then."
Bosh did add that he would be open to talking with Raptors President and General Manager Bryan Colangelo about a contract if he was approached. He also said that he would not rule out staying in Toronto after the 2009-10 season.”
