Curry would support a trade

The New York Post is reporting that Eddy Curry would support
a trade from the Knicks if it was in the best interest of the team.

It is noted in the article that “Knicks brass will shop his
contract this summer in an attempt to get further under the 2010 salary cap” and
that “"I want to see us get better. If it takes my contract to do it, then
I would hate to leave, [but] if it results in the Knicks getting better, I’m
all for that."

It is also reported that Curry can opt for free agency after
next season and that would allow the Knicks to save a ton of money under the salary
cap at a time when it is noted that Curry’s play has “hit rock bottom.”
