Gallinari done for the year?

The New York Times is reporting that the Knicks may loose Gallinari for the season due to his ailing
back. It is reported that” Danilo Gallinari will miss the Knicks’ next three
games, and perhaps the rest of the season, as he explores surgical options for
his ailing lower back."

It is also reported that “Gallinari, a gifted rookie forward from Italy, missed
the first two months of the season because of back pain and has been limited
since joining the rotation in mid-January. Doctors until now have recommended
rehabilitation over surgery.”

It is also reported that ” If surgery is ruled out, Gallinari could play
again this season, but D’Antoni said he was proceeding as if he would not.”
