Jason Williams, Allen Iverson shop services beyond Grizzlies
Guards seem less likely to join Griz

Two guards pursued by the Grizzlies were focused on other options Tuesday.Veteran point guard Jason Williams, offered a one-year, minimum-salary deal last week to return to Memphis, worked out for Orlando.
Magic general manager Otis Smith told the Orlando Sentinel after the workout that the 33-year-old floor general is a candidate for a roster spot. Williams is expected to make a decision in the coming week after visiting with potential suitors.
Meanwhile, there was another indication that Allen Iverson is unlikely to land in Memphis — no surprise, given Griz owner Michael Heisley’s contention of several weeks that Iverson will surface elsewhere.
The former MVP spent several minutes updating his Twitter.com account early Tuesday morning.
The most telling entry read: "If you think that I am just going away-Think again! I am getting ready for the NBA season. Waiting for the call. Charlotte, Miami, NY."
There was no mention of Memphis.
