Kobe and Jackson likely to return to the Lakers next season

The LA times is reporting that it is looking good for both Kobe Bryant and Phil Jackson to return to the Lakers next season.

It is noted in the article that Jackson has a 1 year option left on his deal that pays him 12 million dollars per year, however he normally takes his time in making decision and in this case he will likely take some time to consider his heath and what not. With that being said, it is noted that he is likely to return.

In the case of Kobe it is widely noted that he can opt out of this contract and become a free agent this summer. Kobe can however resign for about 135 million dollars for 5 years, an amount that would be hard for other teams to match in these financial tough times.
