Observations: Bobcats in trade talks

The Bobcats have plenty of feelers out with a little over a week left until the NBA’s trade deadline.
I know they’ve had plenty of discussions, including with the Celtics (
Rasheed Wallace or Glen Davis?), Bulls ( Tyrus Thomas?) and Knicks (
Jordan Hill?) in pursuit of depth at power forward.
Thomas is probably the longest shot – the Bulls want a lot to give him up.
I assume if the Bobcats made a deal, they’d give up one or more guards, with D.J. Augustin or Flip Murray the most attractive possibilities for other teams.
Coach Larry Brown didn’t address any specifics in his pregame remarks, but he did talk about how teams become more realistic in their expectations the closer they get to the Feb. 18 deadline.
"Based on my experience, they posture now, and then right around the All-Star Game, it gets heated up and you find out what" a team is willing to accept.
