Raptor Report

Ok, I should have done this earlier, but I was busy, so here we go.After upsetting losses to Atlanta and Dallas, Toronto came back setting and tieing franchise records, against the Philidelphia 76ers. I didn’t catch the game, but listening to pieces on the radio (I was at hockey practise.) it sounded like an interesting game.

Now, as you can imagine, this is a huge win for the Raptors, they need it for the playoff spot, and against another huge rival fighting for that spot. The good news is, New York, Philidelphia, and Orlando, all lost tonight, but the Celtics and Nets both won, meaning that the Raptors are still going to need to keep fighting for that final spot, and work even harder if they make it against most likely Miami. Unless the unthinkable happens and they take their division, that would seed them probabley against Cleveland.

So here are my picks for the playoffs.

East

1. Miami

2. Detroit

3. Philidelphia

4. Washington

5. Chicago

6. Cleveland

7. Boston

8. Toronto

West

1. Phoenix

2. San Antonio

3. Seattle

4. Dallas

5. Sacramento

6. Houston

7. Memphis

8. Denver

So things basically stay the same.

Ok, so a Toronto championship vs Houston seems odd, but so did a Tampa Bay cup over Calgary, and a non-Yankee champioship. The odds aren’t always right. In the famous words of Han Solo (Empire Strikes Back, can’t wait for Revenge of the Sith.)

CPO – “The odds of surviving are 386 000 to 1.”

Han- “Never tell me the odds.”

The Raptors can make the championships, but people need to believe, I am going to ask my school principle for a Purple day. We need Jalen Rose, and Chris Bosh to have huge playoffs. Mope and Donyell Marshall have been playing great lately.

The Raptors need to cover O’neill, get him, and they have Miami, I know, it’s early to plan the playoffs against Miami, but if we work at it, we will win. Almost every game left is against an Eastern conference team, and will all be important, here is the schedule:

A note on the odds thing, my grandpa gave me a pro-line ticket seventeen times to pick last year, every one of the seventeen times were one of Pittsburgh’s wins over big teams, like Toronto, Ottawa, and Dallas. Without Mario.

I’m Carter Sucks, this has been the Raptor report.
