Raptors after Baron Davis

A report out of New York says the Raptors have offered three players for New Orleans Hornets guard Baron Davis.Sportsnet.ca — Are the Raptors making a play for Hornets’ point guard Baron Davis?

According to a report in today’s New York Post they are. Sources have told columnist Peter Vecsey the Raptors are offering Rafer Alston, Lamond Murray and Donyell Marshall for the oft-injured point guard.

Davis has been forced to miss 36 games this season because of an inflamed disc in his lower back but was back at practice with his squad on Monday.

Hornets’ general manager Allan Bristow was asked on Monday if his team was interested in moving the point guard.

“We’re not,” Bristow told The New Orleans Times-Picayune.
