Sunday NBA Monster Rumor roundup

This Sunday afternoon there are tons of rumors flying around the NBA from a huge variety of legitimate sources. The Daily News is reporting that the Hawks are interested in resigning Mike Bibby for the right price, The New York Post is reporting on who the Knicks would like to select in the draft and ESPN.com is reporting on who the Timberwolves are eying for GM.
In the Slam Dunk section of the daily news it is reported that the Hawks would like to resign Mike Bibby who apparently started to show his age in the series against the Cavaliers. It is noted that the Hawks best moments came “when Bibby was on the bench.” If he is looking for big money the Hawks are not interested in bringing him back.

The New York Post is reporting that “If the Knicks beat the odds and surge to No. 1 or 2, they are expected to take Spanish point guard Ricky Rubio, the 19-year-old phenom whom Mike D’Antoni faced in the 2008 Olympics.”

Espn.com is reporting that the Timberwolves are looking at Tom Penn to be their next G.M. it is noted that” Either way, Penn’s apparent willingness to keep McHale as coach and team with Wolves assistant general manager Fred Hoiberg on personnel matters — combined with Penn’s solid reputation after working for Jerry West in Memphis and helping the Trail Blazers rise to prominence in the Western Conference — has established him as the heavy favorite to replace McHale as Minnesota’s lead decision-maker on personnel matters.”
